The Marlene Meyerson JCC Manhattan's Winter Soiree (previously called White Hot Saturday Night) is one of our major annual events, raising critical funds to support the many vital programs and services we offer to the community. This festive event features live and silent auctions, music, food and drink. The 2023 Winter Soiree was held on December 9, and our co-chairs were Liz and Steve Oved, Marisa and Derek Rapisarda, and Emily and David Skurnik.

Funds from Winter Soiree critically serve the Marlene Meyerson JCC Manhattan's mission: activating Jewish wisdom to create community for all who need it. We program for every phase of life, every ability; and we build space for people to connect across different experiences: from our littlest learners to older adults. If you've stepped through our doors, used our elevator, or hopped in our pool, you know what it means to join a big tent of community care.

Now more than ever the JCC is showing up as a lifeline of emotional support from a place of Jewish values. Donations to Winter Soiree ensure our organization can continue to grow and respond to communal needs. Your gift will support programs such as:

  • Scholarship funds and tuition assistance so more children have the chance to attend The Saul and Carole Zabar Nursery School, as well as all our family life offerings.
  • Free Math and Literacy programs for New York City public school kids from low-income and underserved communities in our district.
  • Our Parkinson's Wellness Program, enabling hundreds of individuals living with Parkinson's to access high-quality exercise, movement, and support programming.
  • The Memory Project: an ongoing support group for individuals struggling with early memory loss, and those who identify as their caregivers.

Thank you for making an impact on our beloved New York City institution.
